Our first outing as a family of 5: Ellie's first check-up at the lovely hour of 0800 this morning. She's growing very nicely! From 7lbs 6oz to 8lbs 9.5oz in two weeks. Note to self: never accept such an early appointment again. My alarm went off 0530. Thank goodness Michael was able to join us... It was a 2hrs + visit. The boys were model citizens - so much in fact, that we received several compliments on their behavior. Good job, boys!!

Boys? Boys...? Where are Ellie's binkies??
Actually, Braiden came to me horrified and in complete shock, and finally got out something like, "NOAH HAS ELLIE'S BINKIES IN HIS GARBAGE TRUCK!!!!!"

The boys are fascinated with Ellie's swing; Braiden especially loves to turn on the music and mobile because "Ellie needs it!"

Saturday morning. Our air conditioning unit broke and had to be replaced... that finally happened on Monday afternoon. If you've been to the DC area in the summer, you know it's not really pleasant. The temperature inside hovered around 90 degrees. But anyway, we didn't want to turn appliances on, least of all the dryer, so curtain rods were turned into clotheslines. :)

13 days old on Monday - a/c fixed and kids are actually wearing some clothes!

Fire trucks never go out of style.

Ellie 10 days old, hanging out on the Boppy.

Kisses from Daddy! 10 days old.

Ellie 8 days old. Enough pink?

Ellie 6 days old, sleeping on Daddy. She loves sleeping on her belly, on either Michael or myself. Thankfully she has taken to her bed as well, usually waking up once or twice to nurse and then falling back to sleep easily.
