Braiden loves animals! He can roar like a lion, moo like a cow, hiss like a snake, smack like a bunny, and squeak like a puppy.
Here is a short video of some of his talents!

We've been going to the playground a lot. Right after lunch we usually have the whole big park to ourselves! Braiden is still taking two naps - or more accurately, a morning nap and some quiet time in his crib in the afternoon.
Here is a video of his antics at the park.

Noah continues being his sunny, happy self.
Here is a short video of him. He is quite the kicker! Socks are no match for him.
Braiden appropriately learned to "Moo" this week. It was cute, we had kept repeating it to him for a while even though he had no interest in mimicking us. Well, one day I casually asked him what the cow says, and he looked at us, and with a clear, sure voice said: "Moo." So cool!
So why is it appropriate for this week? We are mooooving! In May, we'll haul ourselves cross-country to Maryland for 3 years.
It's bittersweet. We immediately felt at home in San Diego. We've made amazing friends. This was our first home together, and both boys were born here. Oh yeah, and then there's the weather. But the move will be worth it - Michael will be on shore duty! No deploying for the entire time we will be there. Aaaaaaaaaaah. And while we'll sadly be farther from Michael's family, the move will bring us closer to mine. And maybe, just maybe, we'll get to call San Diego home again some day.
Oh, and if you are familiar with Maryland, leave a comment or shoot us an email! We might have questions for you. :)
